Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our manufacturing plant team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving mechanical systems, ensuring the efficiency of production equipment, and supporting continuous process improvements to optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment within the manufacturing plant.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and enhance productivity.
- Analyze production data and recommend solutions to address operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all mechanical operations.
- Work with vendors to source parts, materials, and tools for machinery maintenance.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for engineering projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for equipment design and layout.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
